All of that was this month.

And, like, that's just from scrolling through my FB feed and looking at news articles various friends have posted, and it's not counting anything that wasn't from a major, mainstream news source.
That's leaving out all the personal reports of antisemitic bullying at schools, signs posted in neighborhoods, flyers left with the free local papers & magazines in grocery stores, all that stuff.
As I keep saying, unlike in the movies, in real life this stuff isn't accompanied by dark clouds on the horizon and ominous music to tell you Shit's Getting Bad.

This is what it looks like. Increasing amounts of this stuff, and this stuff getting normalized.
anyway, I dunno, a lot of this happened during Hanukkah and I'm just very tired and very sad
Actually, one more thing: it's *really* easy to focus on the 9 incidents in NYC in one week, because that much of a cluster is deeply upsetting, and it's NYC! The capital city of Jewish America! And those incidents happened during Hanukkah! And there was a stabbing!
And that focus on the cluster of incidents in NYC is leading to a lot of ugly sentiment about Black people and a lot of hot takes about Black antisemitism. People way more qualified than me are talking about that--check my timeline for retweets of good threads.
But I did this whole list, and didn't just retweet articles about 9! incidents! in! NYC! this! week! because this is not happening in a vacuum.

Other marginalized communities might *reflect* rising anti-semitism, but they're not where it's *coming* from.
