1. Benefits of Gratitude. 1 Thess. 5:18- ‘’ in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you’’. #Gratitude
2. Thanksgiving puts you in perfect alignment with God’s will. Giving thanks puts you right in the centre of Gods will. It is when your prayers align with God’s will that they are answered (1 John 5:14, Phil. 4:6, Rom. 8:28). #Gratitude
3. Someone says I don’t know how to pray or what to do, just thank God. Even when things seem not to be working, you can’t go wrong with thanksgiving. #Gratitude
4. Thanksgiving gives you access to God’s sovereignty (Psalm 100:4, John 6:11, John 11:40-42). God created our world & put principles in place to run it; gravity for example, God is not bound by these principles and occasionally suspends them to perform miracles. #Gratitude
5. Giving thanks gives you access to this dimension of miracles. If you come across a situation that is beyond your control, praising God can cause God’s sovereignty to kick in. (Ps. 10:4, John 11). #Gratitude
6. Thanksgiving keeps your focus on God, helping you to see issues from God’s perspective. In fact, thanksgiving is proof that our focus is on God. When we keep our focus on God, we just want to be grateful. #Gratitude
7. When we take our focus off God, we will interpret situations wrongly. Life is about perspective and interpretation. The highest perspective is God’s perspective; which is Revelation to us. (2 kings 6:13). #Gratitude
8. When you take your focus away from God, & you put it on yourself. This may lead to hatred & bitterness as you blame people for your situation & see people as ‘enemies’. There is nobody powerful enough to stop God from doing what he has purposed to do in your life. #Gratitude
9. Thanksgiving helps to develop your mental and general health (Phil 4:6-8). How do you move from negative to positive emotions? Prayer and Thanksgiving helps. #Gratitude
10. Thanksgiving is proof of your love for God and humility (1 John 5:3, Eph. 5:6). Humility qualifies you for grace because God gives grace to the humble. #Gratitude
11. I prophesy that as you choose to stay on the frequency of thanksgiving, you won’t miss God. Everyone and everything that God has positioned for you to fulfil destiny is activated in Jesus name. #Gratitude
12. The power that multiplied 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish will ensure that you are never without provision in Jesus’ name. #Gratitude
