Although to pick the most ~instructional~ game I played in the past decade, it's Love Live! School idol festival.

The reason is it taught me everything I needed to know about gacha games- how they work, the tricks they play on you, and when to tap out.

This is a bit of a departure from our usual fare, so if there's anything wrong here- especially the intro- please say so! I just had to cover this because, well, Idol Hakkenden was just a ~ride~ from start to finish.

As the end of the year approaches, it is time for Gaming Hell's traditional Year In Revue. What, if anything, did the strongest video games website get up to in 2019?

At the start of the year, I decided to do something a little different and have a teaser image, of sorts

I don't know if it was useful for generating Hype at all, but it certainly helped me to focus on getting specific games done.

I am sure we are all going to party tonight. And reflect back at the decade we are leaving behind.

It would perhaps take a few years to understand what this decade was all about.
For India, 90s were about economic liberalisation, globalization, rise of engineering and IT, the first computers and ridiculous bollywood movies we fell in love with.

90s was the decade when love marriage began to become the aspirational thing.

H-1Bs don't officially make workers indentured & underpaid; just unofficially. Workers can only switch to other companies that will pay to sponsor visas. Many don't. So:
- That reduced market
- Extra cost
- Transactional friction

Limit their options & pay.
Because many H1B workers arrive without families (or at least extended families), they tend to work longer hours, so companies get more bang for the buck.

How much buck?

This thread sheds some light onto Terry's original series, Fatal Fury, as well as its overall importance and to show newcomers where they can start
Terry comes from the Fatal Fury series, which follows his journey alongside his brother Andy (right) and their best friend Joe (left) as they compete in various fighting tournaments either for victory or for revenge against main antagonist, Geese Howard.
The story for the series kicks off ten years before the first game where Geese murders Terry and Andy's adoptive father, Jeff Bogard, due to conflicting views Geese and Jeff had during their training under master Tung Fu Rue.

We received and are receiving many more internal documents from big tech companies. One of these was an email at Google where conservatives @benshapiro @prageru were called "nazis using the dog whistles", they recommended "disabling the suggestion feature."
Just before we released our insider Google report, which was covered by MSM and referenced in Congressional hearings as evidence of tech bias, we published internal documents from Pinterest showing actions taken against "christian" and pro-life content.

WWII was the U.S.A. at her best. At home tho people were unsure whether they had anything to gain by being involved. Many said they did not. And at least 20,000 who attended a Nazi rally in New York in 1939 would have fought with the Nazis if they could.

And now, because no one asked for it, here are my top eight #editor pet peeves. Style is subjective, and some places allow for more vernacular uses than others. But if I am your editor, no matter where I work, you can bet I will axe the following. Mild snarkiness incoming:
8) “first discovered” – redundant in almost all cases (how do you discover something for the second time?)
7) “centered around” – illogical; you can be “centered on” and you can “revolve around” but they can’t be mashed together
