If your goal is to start building developer content in 2020, here's a thread of advice for you 👇
Start small and don't focus on perfection. Write a super rough draft that's just your thoughts on paper. Video yourself giving advice on a topic you're passionate about. Sit down with a friend and chat about a dev topic and record it. You can always edit later.
Starting small is 💯 the way to go. Don't overextend yourself at first, you'll burn out and want to quit. Just write one post. Or build up a habit of writing a paragraph a day.
Working with friends makes it a lot more fun, maybe try a podcast or writing somewhere with a great community like dev.to.
Create content for yourself first. My first blog post had 7 readers. Sure you can follow some strategy to grow, but write authentic content that would have helped the previous version of you. It'll be way better, I promise.
Even if you are your only audience you can still benefit from creating content. You're re-enforcing your knowledge and can always use your own posts as a reference. Plus you can always show off your work when you're job searching.
If you want even more advice here are some more resources:

dev.to/aspittel/my-bl…

ladybug.dev/episode/bloggi…

But most of all, just put something out there. It'll help somebody even if that somebody is just you at first.
