I had to pause this 9:00 in for a phone call I had to answer and it killed me but I'm back!

Sometimes in 3.0 jams in general Trey seems to be devoid of melodic ideas which can lead to a modulation out of necessity.

This is the exact opposite of that right out of the gate. #phish

11:30 is when it was clear this was headed towards epic territory. Tons of ideas from Trey. Urgency yet patience, like all great #phish fans.

Totally forgot about the almost Wedge-like drumbeat around 12:30. Fishman is on fire. Add that to seemingly endless melodic ideas from Trey and you've got baby making music. #phish

15:30 felt like it could end and then Trey starts doing some fascinating rhythmic stuff with delay and Mike goes off. Fishman continues to crush. This is when I first started to lose my mind. #phish

The long, sweeping melodies from Trey starting at 17:00 having me losing my mind all over again. Ahhhhhhhhh #phish

Normally a section that great only lasting a little over a minute would be criminal. But this Tweezer is on a mission.

Totally forgot that the entire band drop down to piano. This is a fucking symphony. #phish

Chill groove right before 20:00 with the weirdness from Trey sounds almost Europe Summer '97 briefly which I don't throw around lightly. #phish

And now is when this officially entered historic territory. Page with the alien synths under this patient groove that builds so slowly.

This was when I raised both arms in the air and basked like I was in the Gospel Tent at Jazzfest getting my sinning ass saved. #phish

And now Trey starts melodically soloing as Mike and Fishman gently push things up the mountain. This sounds like WTU's cousin that they composed over days or weeks. #phish

24:30 Mike leads the next shift with some rhythmic bass chords which Trey attached to immediately. Fishman is now swinging his balls off and Trey is reminding that he's one of the best rhythm guitarists this world has ever known. #phish

26:00 Page steps to forefront while Mike and Fishman are doing work and Trey is getting weird AF underneath.

And now Trey emerges with some urgent melodic ideas.

This band hands off the "spotlight" so seemlessly that you can miss that it even happened. #phish

Some more beautiful soloing from Page now overlayed with some Trey rhythm playing. Whole band is about to start the launch sequence. You can just feel it. #phish

And after yet another modulation Trey is all like

Page on the grand now. The rhythmic conversation happening between the three of them under Trey's lead is fucking magical. Totally locked in in every possible respect. #phish

31:00 Trey's melodic lead is taking rhythmic cues directly from the rhythm section below him. Communication on an elite level. Every college music major should listen to this shit as a requirement. #phish

Long note from Trey that allows Mike to go bonkers underneath him and they both come out of his long note firing. Page driving things forward on the grand. Fishman just doing work as he always does. #phish

33:00 no one in that arena could feel any pain. Just hose. Can you imagine being one of the humans making this art?!? #phish

33:30 Trey suddenly with a jarring rhythmic lick. Then Fishman dives into this nasty halftime groove that is like Let's Go Band from Elementary School band but if it was sung by Satan. #phish

And that ends it. Holy shit that's at least as good as I remembered it. I'll be smiling about this one many decades from now. This band. #phish
