Meet @jesse_derose. Today he joins the Duckbill Group full time as a Cloud Analyst. A thread! 
This isn’t my first time hiring Jesse. Both @mike_julian and I have worked with him previously. He’s a marvel.
Setting his obvious technical excellence aside, he’s a genuinely empathetic person; you just feel better when you’re talking with him.
He’s been moonlighting part time with us for a few months and crushing it.
And by “it,” I mean our AWS bill. His c5.large was $70 or so of our $130 bill last month so we’re starting off by putting @jesse_derose on a PIP.
