I don't put my pronouns on my email signature or on bios, I don't put them on name tags at events. I don't care whether ppl call me he, she or they. Sometimes ppl will ask though, as they don't want to offend & I always reply I don't mind, if I'm being introduced then Dr will do.

..because I am quite binary out of the system we have at the moment & there's no point denying that. Increasingly the term Queer seems to encompass all this, in terms of identity, though politically I disagree with some of the stances that term is often associated with, e.g.
..all my activist life I've taken view that prostitution & pornography industries are a cause & consequence of every societal inequality including sex inequality, racism, social class, feminization of poverty, objectification of women's bodies & destruction of sexual agency. But
...in terms of sex, gender & sexuality identities, I think the label of Queer is v useful & potentially liberating.
And another thing! I never use the term cisgender! I don't use the term cis either actually. Cisgender naturalises gender, it suggests there's a fixed natural gender that some ppl then transgress but most ppl remain within. Masculinity & femininity aren't biological or fixed.
There's no such thing as a birth gender, it's a contradiction in terms. So there can't be cisgenders because there aren't natural genders & my worry with the term is that it naturalises gender & reinforces the idea of sex-gender congruence which isn't helpful to anyone.
