✔️ This is the last thing I’m going to say on this topic. I like Bernie. I think he’d make an excellent president. But no one should have to lie for him. I will vote for whoever is the Dem no@one in November. And do so enthusiastically. But. Candidates are not God like.

Why is everyone trying to cover up what he has said? Bernie wrote and published an essay saying women fantasized about being raped by three men. When confronted he said it was a stupid thing. Fine, we moved on.

Bernie in 2018 said that white Americans weren’t ready to vote for black candidates. That was observably true. America is racist. Fine. We moved on.

Sounds exactly like what he told Elizabeth Warren.

Bernie is very supportive of women, and has a very diverse team. I don’t think he’s sexist. I don’t think he’s racist. Same thing with the script. At first he had nothing to do with it. His campaign leaders called everyone liars for saying so. His fans spread lies online.

Then we find out it actually came from the campaign. but they used it to call into several states. So the next story was it was fine. And, it was not that harmful but it was breaking their nonaggression pact. So why lie about it? And we moved on.

Then we come to the debate last night where Bernie had the opportunity to say yes, just like many Americans, I was worried that a woman could not win. But he didn’t.

So Elizabeth didn’t lie for him. It wasn’t about him. It’s the bigger question.

He’s an ally so we move on

Candidates are not God-like. They make mistakes. They say things they regret later. Also, I will block bots and actual humans who decide they’re going to lie or attack when anyone points out flaws or errors. This is how we grow. Make a mistake admit it and move on.
