If you measure the entirety of the population, you get a normal distribution. It's only once you disaggregate by sex that you reveal any bimodality (although even that separation doesn't meet the criteria for true bimodality).

Before Christmas, I spoke in Cambridge in defence of academic freedom of speech, and I feel very strongly that scientists are able to openly discuss their thoughts, ideas and understanding.
Bad scientific arguments are rebutted with good scientific arguments. It starts and ends there.
Obviously, Twitter is not always an ideal platform for scientific exchange, but many of us *do* discuss science in good faith here.
