Young student leaders need to be a lot more self-aware about the words they use, the statements they make. Social Media is a cruel place, and even the slightest of goof-ups can lead to a viral video, prime time discussions, and sometimes even a criminal case.

To be a politician/public speaker/anchor in this day and age, one needs to have the skills of imagining how a speech of theirs can be clipped, twisted, distorted to portray something that they never said.

So many of the cases we debunk in @AltNews are along the lines of how speeches have been clipped/distorted to remove context and circulated in order to defame individuals.
