Media companies that want to have a paywall need to throw a lot more at a seamless process. If i'm being asked to log in all the time, you'd better make that shit quick.
I will add that a) people need to pay for journalism. advertising no longer does. b) i get why they want to make sure you're signed in. really really singed in. c) hopefully we're about to make this a lot easier. d) Condé Nast is the worst of the lot.
Actually, Hearst is the worst. Just took me 10 min to get the @sfchronicle—which is not cheap—to recognize me.
