This should concern all female reporters. If women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted are not considered objective, you're going to have a *really* hard time finding any women to write about these issues

To be clear: she did not tweet out anything inflammatory or false. It was a link to a story from a well-respected publication. For that she's being intimidated by executives for "hurting the institution"?
The next time someone tells you not to join a union because you're all "family" or whatever, remember this story
I'll stop soon, but let me just say: This is why online harassment is a workplace issue. A reporter's life was being threatened and the Washington Post was more concerned about the "institution" than her life.
Btw, this is also a lesson on what happens to women when they come forward about sexual harassment & assault. They are thought of as "troublemakers" and are treated as such - Marty Baron's email is part of the reason women stay silent about abuse
