Infection with Hepatitis B can be responsible for Liver Cancer

Infection with Human Papilloma Virus can be responsible for cancers of the cerivix, anus, vulva, vagina, penis and throat

Luckily, you can take vaccines for these two infections

These organisms I mentioned are sexually transmitted, you can get human papilloma virus from oral sex, as well as other forms

Hepatitis B on the other hand is also gotten from unprotected sex as well as from bodily fluids

The vaccines prevent infection with these diseases
Currently, the vaccines are not free, but can be gotten at general hospitals and registered medical centres around you

The vaccines will not treat the infection if a person already has it.

For both vaccines, you should be screened and tested before they are given to you

People wind up their windows in cars not realizing that the air pollution inside cars is worse than the one outside especially in traffic

Air pollution is about 9 to 12 times higher inside cars than outside, and your kids are at risk, it damages their lungs and affects learning
Most times the car has the AC on, just sucking the exhaust coming out of the danfo or lorry in front of them straight into the car.

We don't take air pollution seriously in this part of the world.

Air pollution is even responsible for some cases of cancers.
Imagine the average Lagosian, working hard hours, stressed and then spending 5 hours daily on the road breathing in toxic fumes.

You wonder why we don't live as long as our ancestors as many people claim.

Take your health seriously, be conscious about these things.

Whether you believe it or not, this is blood collected from a patient.

The upper part is lipids(fat), this person had very high levels of fat in their blood including cholesterol

Some people inherit this kind of condition, others get it because of their lifestyle
The condition is known as hyperlipidemia and is treatable.

There are foods that contain high amounts of cholesterol and fat that can contribute to this condition. They include:

Ice cream

Cheese

Fried foods

Ice cream

Processed foods

Red meat

Cakes, etc
When last did you go for a medical check up?

You should check your lipid levels, talk to your doctor about it.

It's not something you can tell you have or see the symptoms until it has caused a problem

The only way to know is to check.

2. The name of the drug supposedly used is known as Adrexyl, a combination of adrenaline and lignocaine. One common use of this kind of mixture is to block the nerves around the area so the person does not feel pain.

It usually lasts longer than just lignocaine alone
3. Because the adrenaline component makes the blood vessels around that area smaller so that the lignocaine stays in that area for longer and does not leak out as fast.

Never use saliva as lubricant during sex.

41% of us will get some form of cancer in our lifetimes.
That's nearly half of us.
Everyone knows someone with cancer.
So we have to be vigilant and we have to take care of ourselves--lower that stress, first and foremost.
