Donald Trump is honoring Rush Limbaugh with the highest civilian honor America can bestow, specifically because Limbaugh spent decades calling feminists “Nazis” and liberals “traitors,” so that when real Nazis and traitors appeared, they were well-camouflaged.
Rush Limbaugh‘s definitely my favorite medal of honor recipient to have mocked Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s and called a 12-year-old girl a dogface, but yeah for sure left-winger outrage about systemic bigotry is the real corrosive agent on our national fabric.
Anyway Rush Limbaugh is one of the biggest pieces of shit to ever live, and so is Donald Trump, and 40% of Americans are cheerful because one of them gave the other one a medal whose worth is forever diminished by both of them, and the state of the union is strong etc.
A whole lot of people sure have decided that it’s inconvenient to know the difference between right and wrong haven’t they.
