“LOOK AT YOU” - A Thread For All Who Want It

At 1:33 in, just at the moment he was about to start his speech, just as the audience finally stopped chanting and applauding, some idiot from the bleacher behind him yelled, "LOOK AT YOU!"

At that moment, he stops, thought, smiled, and while nodding his head perhaps in agreement or some realization, turned away from the audience - he turned around to look in the direction of whoever said those three simple words - LOOK AT YOU.

That smile was incredible, he was still nodding... The crowd in the bleachers just roared - so full of energy, of his energy, of some realization - it is at this writing still unexplainable. I had tears of pure joy as did many others. He then turned back and started his speech.

So.. It was me... I was that idiot.. I was the one who said “LOOK AT YOU!” I don't know why, but it just came out. Perhaps all of the effort, all the work, the hours, the ups, the downs, all of the sleep lost - and not just by me.

To know the effort I've seen from so many fortunate to have been there, to know the efforts by the amazing volunteers not just in Virginia, but all over the country.

To know that the Barnstormers came in droves to support Pete in Iowa - 2300 - I am told, all VOLUNTEERS. To have seen the efforts of the amazing PFA volunteers in Iowa, people who I hope to call friends forever.

The pure exhaustion of it all, I don't know. At that moment, I reflected, and all I had in me was to exclaim, "LOOK AT YOU". So, I say to you, my Pete people, ”LOOK AT YOU”, look what you've done.
