Occasionally the movie will start playing way too slow and you have to rotate the R stick like an old timey camera crank to get it back up to speed
Sometimes the stream quality drops to 144p and it does the Mortal Kombat "Test Your Might" gauge, the closer it is to the red line when you hit A the better the quality
A really badly drawn pixel clown comes in from the corner, giggles into his hands, and throws his clown dust all over the screen. It remains until you manually wipe it all off
Out of nowhere Baby Elephant March gets piped into the movie, and for the next two months there's silly Snapchat filters on every actor's face. Hit X every time they appear to make them go away, the faster they go the more coins you earn

In the middle of a scene it does the Final Fantasy VII screen wipe and you have to win a JRPG battle to resume
Software uses basic facial recognition to determine when a smiling actor's face is filling a good chunk of the screen. It pauses on that frame and makes you play a really basic dating sim, altering their expression when you buy them gifts with those coins you earned before
Before you start the movie it combs through the file to find the loudest part. When you get there the volume doubles for just one second, likely on a gunshot or something.
Software recognition combs through the file looking for a credits screen, and marks the point five minutes before it as a likely ending scene. At some point the movie pauses and makes you answer Bible trivia, punishing you by spoiling the movie if you don't know your scripture.
