.@ODPP_KE attention has been drawn to a misleading heading by a local newspaper claiming @EACCKenya did not probe allegations of irregular withdrawal of Ksh 26.1 million from Wajir County Government by county officials.

On contrary, the IO in his testimony on 10/2/2020 during cross examination by defence confirmed @EACCKenya was involved & that more officers from the Forensic Department were deployed from @EACCKenya Headquarters to boost Wajir team in investigations.
The IO testified that investigations revealed the accused persons conived to withdraw the said monies by 5 cheques at KCB, Wajir branch between 2nd & 9th October, 2018.

The IO to continue to testify on 14/2/2020.

1. Following the arraignment of Directors of Keroche Breweries Ltd, KRA enforcement officers availed to the Prosecution a letter dated 13th August, 2019 authored by Tabitha Karanja, CEO & 1st accused. The letter was placed on record before Plea Court.
2. The letter confirmed that Tabitha Karanja, the CEO of Keroche Breweries Limited, indeed received the summons issued by KRA.
3. In court, Senior Counsel Hon. Senator James Orengo, confirmed that the Directors were summoned. This was indeed an opportunity for the Directors to interrogate the matter further with KRA.

Forensic document examiner John Muinde, the 34th prosecution witness in Anglo-leasing trial has told court that some of accused persons authored documents relating to 40 million Euros police security equipment contract

Muinde told court that forensic examination of documents & specimens show that the handwriting & signatures were for former PSs Dave Mwangi & Joseph Magari, former Treasury head of Department David Onyonka & former Finance Minister late David Mwiraria.

Further hearing is scheduled for 11th and 12th July 2019

Competence is knowing what to do in a situation and how to do it. It is not the same as excellence.
Excellence is dependent on other people, like judges, examiners, teachers, assessors, inspectors, auditors. But we can't control these people and whether they think we're excellent or not.

UUK has already said that 1/3rd of the 42% were Oxbridge colleges. 1/3rd of 42% of 116 is c. 16. So we can now establish that c. 16 Oxbridge Colleges called for lower risk, whereas... 1/
c. 3 Oxbridge Colleges either said they accepted the level of risk that was proposed in the September valuation, called for a higher level, or did not respond to this question. 2/

#b 'Teknik menjawab' is not a series of rituals that you carry out to secure an A in the exam. You don't get guaranteed an A just through superficial actions like highlighting keywords or drawing meniscus or inserting isi tersirat.
The problem is students and teachers treat teknik menjawab as some sort of pseudo magical ritualistic gestures that will bring a certain outcome. Draw a pentagram, slaughter a chicken, and your wish will be granted.
Some remote Pacific Islanders in 1940s came in contact with Allied and Japanese soldiers who were more technologically advanced and thought the soldiers were gods who had many "cargo" (canned food, electronics, modern stuff)
