@Beth_Alize a couple of thoughts / resources that might interest you re: feminism and gender narcissism.

In my book, based on a 19 year marriage to a woman with expert-confirmed narcissistic personality traits, I argued that covert narcissism is a feminine form of the disorder.
As far as I can tell, this was a unique suggestion in narcissism theory. This Mars-Venus interpretation is very intuitive and leads to a simple model that has a strong Occam’s razor appeal. DM if interested, I have a free extra copy I can send you.

I also noted essentially similar traits in the feminists who persecuted me throughout my divorce. I again saw this inadvertently documented in every book/paper I read critical of feminism, though these authors did not recognize this. (Excellent books by @CHSommers)

Toxic masculinity is comprised of masculine traits that, in extremes, become harmful and/or dangerous to the actor and those around them. We are conditioned to display gender norms in exchange for personal value, and thus pressured to pursue societal expectations with vigor. /1
That pressure (to be “manly,” “alpha,” etc.) is what drives some masculine traits to extremes. Women can demonstrate masculine traits, but they arent subject to identity-based pressure to pursue them. This precludes them from displaying toxic masculinity as we have defined it. /2
Misogyny is a stand-alone element of patriarchy, but also an outcome of toxic masculinity - traditional gender roles inherently empower men by design, and exacerbating competitiveness, hierarchy, heteronormativity, hypersexualization, and emotional stoicism all stoke misogyny. /3

Unfortunately, I haven’t figured that out yet.

They’ve effectively broke the family unit through divorce & traumatized us for a few generations now, turning most of the population into weak individuals constantly seeking validation through adhering to mind control programming..
by imitating the interactions that they see on tv and in movies even though that’s not the way real humans naturally interact or communicate at all.

Personally I’ve never witnessed or been in a relationship that wasn’t highly dysfunctional but I still believe they’re possible..
if we were to collectively reject the conditioning and the illusion of romance that was been projected onto us in favor of remembering what masculine and feminine energy meant before they told us what it *should* be.
