Just watched @CNNSotu. I respect @DanaBashCNN not getting into a back and forth with Marc Short as he attacks and mischaracterizes the media and much else. BUT...he needed to be fact checked live on his false and ridiculous comparison of Stone and McCabe.
I said the same thing last night. Disturbing the administration would twist facts and mislead in order to take down trust in its own Department of Justice and the free press at the same time. What are we thinking allowing this to pollute the public? @DanaBashCNN @brianstelter
Really glad to see @emptywheel put this into a blog post. @CNNSotu this morning let administration present it as a legitimate argument while slamming DOJ and the media to @DanaBashCNN .
