"The joke often serves as a vehicle for the truth," Francis Bacon quote...

Poets and writers have played a lot on jokes to get messages across more easily, because a joke is not a mockery, it's a "friendly" way to make us understand our mistakes,it's a little pat on the shoulder
and with a joke, we always stay within the limits of benevolence. Humour and joke are benevolent tools.

Today, we also see it in cartoons or animated films. Not in any of them but in the "Homer Simpson" series, it's quite true (and counterbalance Disney's of course).
There are also some comic films that convey messages in a joking way.
In France we have had "Les Tuches" which show the stupidity and superficiality of the Elites as well as the happiness that is not linked to material wealth)
and of course we have the paramount timeless movies with Louis De Funès. Always remember that in benevolent films, greatest actors don't hesitate to put themselves in the shoes of the most ridiculous & grotesque characters (Unlike Hollywood actors refusing to "sully" their image)
There are also all comedians who play against censorship... We had in France, Coluche who, with his own style, managed to convey messages so to make people react (but he was murdered)

The joke is one of the tools available in the box of the one who wants to inform, guide ...
and sometimes correct with benevolence, a tool that the Elites obviously do not know because they do not take care of the people they are in charge of...
