1. More media bias from the @nytimes. When @andrewcuomo named the first openly gay judge to the New York Court of Appeals that WAS the story. When @realDonaldTrump names the first openly gay cabinet member it is reduced to an afterthought. 
2. Not only is it hidden away at the end of the third paragraph, but they do not even care enough to fact check it saying he “would apparently also be the first openly gay cabinet member”.
“Apparently” as in “we are not sure and are not even going to take the time to check”.

3. I understand a lot of people hate Trump, but this double standard from the @nytimes is awful. If they actually cared to champion gay rights they would do it regardless of which party is involved. This just proves that they are using identity politics to push their own agenda.
4. The narrative that this move would “place a Trump loyalist atop the intelligence agencies” is ridiculous. The president is able to appoint whoever they want to their cabinet. That is the point.
5. Perhaps it IS unusual though since Obama had his Cabinet assigned to him by an executive from Citibank (and it seems as though Bill Clinton may have as well).
