If you have a 2019 Mercedes-Benz S560, get a couple of senior citizens and see if they're able to climb into the back seat from the front.

Of course, it might be easier to get back there if you're submerged and can float, but....
That said, I wonder if Mercedes Remote Parking Assist, available on the S560, can be activated when people are already in the vehicle?

Does the app confirm that there is road in front of the vehicle using maps, visual signal, or just an absence of obstructions via sensors?
Will it accelerate hard enough to drive over chocks under the wheels, so long as no obstacles are detected by sensors in front of the vehicle? @MercedesBenz
I'd assume both the app and car both pings GPS and a network service at some point, so Mercedes should have a record, were the service ever used for some nefarious purpose...

like driving a car off the end of a ferry.
And is proof of ownership required to gain access to this feature? Or can any passenger sitting in the car alone gain access via some sort of pairing mechanism?

@VickerySec - do you know anything about authorization security in self-driving car features?
Could someone simply snag the phone of the driver and use the remote parking assist? Is there a secondary pin or face recognition required in-app before executing the remote command?
The standard MB app doesn't require it, AFAICR, but I haven't done anything like remote start or anything prospectively more dangerous than sending the wrong directions with it for the one I've driven on occasion, so I don't know.
