Ruben Oseguera-Gonzalez, the son of Cartel Public Enemy No. 1 "El Mencho"Oseguera-Cervantes, has been extradited from Mexico to the US.

El Menchito, as Ruben is known, was charged in DC in a 2-count indictment in 2017 with taking part in a decade long drug conspiracy. He went through a series of arrests and releases before the extradition finally went through.
His father, who runs the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, is considered one of Mexico's most powerful traffickers and is among the top targets of US officials. El Mencho was first indicted in DC in 2014.
