I love how the dog is all threatening and then when the bear gets close, he's like... I'm gonna back up a bit.

Lol.
For those worried about bear and the media attention, it's all good now.

I don't know how it is in Monrovia but Utah gets wildlife (bears, wild cats, etc.) that come down onto the benches early in spring or late in the fall looking for food.

Most people give them a wide berth & they either find their way back or the wildlife peeps give them a hand.

The drama in the democratic primary has me thinking & I want to share the story of my political evolution with you.

I don’t know if it’ll be helpful as we try to avoid divisions incited by a foreign entity but it’s worth a shot.

(2) Those of you who know me probably gasped at that but it’s true. It was the first time I ever voted and what I knew about politics at that time could fit into a thimble.

GW had a folksy appeal. I had read a profile that painted him as a maverick of sorts.
(3) I was quite young (late 20s) & came from a religious, conservative background. I’d struggled with extreme poverty as a teacher and all I knew was not matter what I did, I couldn’t get ahead

The system was broken & GW seemed like a political outsider who could shake things up

When Trump was acquited by a GOP Senate of sycophants who admitted his guilt, it should have been the match that set off a tinderbox of fury among the American people.

(2) First off, as I've addressed in previous threads, it's hard for the US to engage in mass protests because of basic geography

Our biggest city isn't the capitol & urban centers are pockets of dense population that are vast distances from one another

(3) We haven't had sustained mass protests in decades. Someone else fights & dies in our wars in places we can't locate on a map.

We have the appearance of equality in theory if not in practice. We live in a wealthy country where success seems possible.

Good morning from federal court in DC for Roger Stone trial Day 2/3 (depending on if you county jury selection as a trial day). Here’s a selfie w/ my colleague @joshgerstein as we venture into the building for another busy day.
Things will get moving at 9:30 am with Michelle Taylor, the former FBI agent who was the Stone case agent before leaving the bureau, on the witness stand to continue her testimony. She should be up there for another 2 or so hours.
I’m told Randy Credico is a possible witness for the government later this PM.

Now tweeting notes from the 5th JY vs, Waxing ladies hearing I attended. Held yesterday, July 26/2019, at the BCHR Tribunal. This hearing consolidated three cases in which the respondents had not responded to the complaints filed by JY against them and did not attend the hearing
This is the last hearing of the 16 complaints filed by Jessica (formerly Jonathan) Yaniv for denial of waxing services, mainly genital waxing of JY's male genitals.

Note to Twitter: former name is relevant to hearing testimony
The majority of these complaints were filed against racialized women working from their homes who advertised their services on FB Marketplace.

Arrived to find that hearing has been moved to a larger more secure room.
