Sanders said he found out @ RU interference in his campaign 'a mo ago', @NatashaBertrand saying that Sanders could have asked the IC @ the time if he could speak publicly @ it then, & that they'd likely not have prevented it. Why then, did Bernie wait til it leaked?
I understand that, what Bertrand is addressing is the question @ why he didn't just ask them if he could speak @ it so that he didn't appear as tho he was complicit, & I'm hearing from folks now that his hesitation makes them suspicious.
She also said that acc to what she's familiar with re FBI staffers who do such briefings, if he had made that request, they'd not 'likely' have pushed back. I'd like to know now if he did ask them, if they did say no. That's material.
