🚨 But we will only win if we continue to put forward the positive case together.

✅ 3 recent independence polls show a majority for Yes
✅ SNP riding high in Scottish Parliament and Westminster polling after nearly 13 years
✅ Won 6 elections in 5 years and helped to secure a overwhelming Remain vote in Scotland
✅ Delivered internationally recognised policy
There’s no room for complacency, and not a single vote will be taken for granted by the SNP, but the above is an excellent record by any measure.

2/ Conclusions of the article:
- #btc grows slower and slower, long-term
- short-term volatility decreases over time
- these trends should continue in the future due to ever higher capital requirements
3/ Diminishing returns implies much lower future #btc prices compared to NON-diminishing returns.
Bitcoin's power-law corridor of growth used diminishing returns. We'll see more evidence for diminishing returns here.

THREAD: What are my politics? How do I see the world? This is likely to prove quite a self-indulgent thread - but given my opposition to Lavery, and lukewarm support for Starmer, I can well imagine how some followers must be thinking "who is this guy? Is he some impostor?"
I'm 41. First got interested in politics aged 8 or 9; the first general election campaign I recall in vivid detail was in 1992. And even before that, I knew enough to dance around the classroom when Thatcher's resignation was announced.
Given when I was born, I spent my entire childhood under a Tory government. And when Labour offered socialism in 1983, or what was still viewed as socialism by very many in 1987 and 1992, it got trounced. Just as it was trounced in 2019.

I think it's REALLY time to start being very clear about the level of racism that exists in Ireland. So, in solidarity with the Ryan's, let me tell you just a few of my family's experiences: 1.Being called a "n&£er lover" "racist to the Irish" "a fucking spanner" on @Twitter 1/
2) getting a long message on @facebook about 4 years ago that told me I married a monkey and my son was an abomination. 3) My son's football coach telling me he didn't trust black people as far as he could throw them & he was glad they had "got me back from that place" (Kenya) 2/
4) A different football coach "joking" that he was going to sell my 9 year old to White Slave Traders. I had to explain slavery to my child that day. 5) Being asked, regularly, if it's true what they say about black men's penis's.

There have recently been a number of discussions about the harassment of women on social media. But despite the public nature of those discussions and the awareness and support that exists, the reality remains that harassment has become a constant for many women. [THREAD]
That needs to stop. Twitter and other sites continue to fail us - it takes a lot for an account to be suspended. There was one account once that happily tweeted about all sorts of sexual activity and rape in relation to me, but was only suspended when they made racist comments 2/
about an MP. Those were vile and entirely unacceptable, but the account should have been suspended way before then. Likewise, I remember the Ukip account that plastered my face all over Twitter for months - never even got a warning for that and it was only closed much later. 3/

The problem is that from the moment the first parliamentarian complained against was hung out to dry a signal was given to those with petty motivations that if you seek to smear an @theSNP MP or MSP the party won’t get behind them, even if they are exonerated
Its important that @theSNP elected representatives are not drawn into trashing our members and supporters who work so hard for the cause. The so-called ‘War on Cybernats’ last weekend was unnecessary and has really upset our core support

- Overspending
- Lies spread by secret social media adverts
- misconduct in public office (referendum lies)
- Press and media (partic. BBC) lies and bias

Take the #SecretFacebookAds. A previous gov't petition response put forward the idea that it's okay for political campaigners to lie, because it's up to the opposition to challenge them. On that basis alone, the FB ads should be banned, you can't challenge a lie you can't see. /3
