4/ You’ll need one of seven types of valid photo ID to vote in Texas.

Don't have a valid photo ID? Voters can still cast votes if they sign a form swearing that they have a “reasonable impediment” from obtaining a proper photo ID.

2/ First: Is early voting surging compared to 2016?

Too soon to make any bold claims.

Assumptions based on vote totals alone are problematic because they don't account for changes in population or the # of registered voters.
3/ That's why we're tracking % turnout in the state’s biggest counties rather than raw numbers, and comparing 2020 turnout to elections past — it's all relative.

After 7 years, it's hard to describe Brazil w/ "words at once true and kind,/ Or not untrue and not unkind." Still, I'll miss it. Brazilians are good-looking, resilient, charming, wittingly & unwittingly hilarious. I was never going to fit in. I'm not cool enough to stay. (2/?)

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nigeria @SECNigeria is the apex regulatory institution of the Nigerian capital market supervised by the @FinMinNigeria.

It regulates/develop the capital market to protect investors & enhance its allocative efficiency.
WHY ARE THEY COMING?

The N25bn bond had a prospectus registered with SEC before it was used to raise money from investors. It contains everything you need to know about the company issuing the bonds, what it will do with the money, and the terms of the investment.

This policy was flawed from the very beginning - it was rolled out with zero consultation with those most closely involved in the day to day workings of the Family Court, including the families themselves. It would have destroyed the family law system. (2/6)
Thankfully @cporterwa abandoned his plans this week. But the uncertainty has done lasting damage to the Family Court. And the shocking thing is Porter is refusing to give the Family Court additional resources because he did not get his way with the bill. (3/6)
