Tomorrow, Tuesday, is our one and only day to vote in the primaries in Alabama. If you have any problems voting tomorrow, please let me know in this thread & Ill try to steer you toward Ms the best resources. For now, you can check that you’re registered vote.org
If you show up tomorrow & find you have been moved to inactive status, you DO NOT have to vote a provisional ballot (it might not get counted). You can reactivate your status in the polling place. Remember to take an Alabama compliant ID. sos.alabama.gov/sites/default/…
Here’s a link to @NAACP_LDF’s voter hotline. Thanks to @Sifill_LDF’s leadership, they’ll have lots of folks on the ground to help.

Alabama Democrats have a 1-800 number you can use to report any problems you encounter voting today.

The court uses harsh language about Barr to explain its decision to reassess DOJ’s redactions: “These circumstances generally, and Attorney General Barr’s lack of candor specifically, call into question Attorney General Barr’s credibility”
And, as much as I hate this, I know it will come up. The judge is a Republican appointee to the bench, Reggie Walton.

1/ Alabama voters-one issue we’ve seen today: If you’re registered to vote somewhere other than at home (ie you’re a college student) & you renew your driver’s license, your polling place may default to the one for your home address. Some college voters had this issue today.
2/ This apparently happens because of Alabama’s 2016 agreement with DOJ to comply with the Motor Voter Act. As a result, you can update your voter registration on the DMV form. if the address on your license is different from where you vote, this “updates” your voting location.
3/ Still looking at this but unclear there’s notice of the change. Please make sure you update your registration to the correct address if you had problems today & check your registration regardless before November. You have until October 20 to register for the general election.

2/ Fed’l & state officials must plan for overcrowded prisons, for instance Alabama’s where overcrowding & inadequate medical care have already been documented in court but remain unaddressed by the state. We owe a special duty to people who are incarcerated in the circumstances.
3/ Why focus on prisoners? The conditions of their confinement mean they have no ability to protect themselves. No constant access to hand washing or safe distances. We should be judged as a society by how we treat our most vulnerable members, including those in jail & prison.

#Thread (a very long one) Yesterday, I visited the new Englewood STEM High School. Remember the close 4 high schools and open 1 high school deal #MRE hand-picked BOE (not to be confused w/ #MLL unelected BOE) approved in 2018 against community wishes? Yes, that one!
2/ Driving up to the school I saw bleachers, a football field, a track, & then the modern structure that houses 400+ freshman students. Nice.

Basic Rules for Swing Traders.

If the trade moves in your favor, carry it overnight–the odds favor follow-through. Expect to exit the next day around the objective point. An overnight gap presents an excellent opportunity to take profits.

Concentrating on only one entry or one exit per day relieves the pressure.

If your entry is correct, the market should move favorably almost immediately. It may come back to test and/or exceed your entry point a little, but that’s OK.

Do not carry a losing position overnight. Exit and play for better position the next day.

A strong close indicates a strong opening the following day.
If the market doesn’t perform as expected, exit on the first reaction.
