I am publicly endorsing Bernie Sanders for President of the United States. To help me explain why I think Sanders will be best for all Americans I want to point you to the differences between him and Biden. The most enlightening things appear between 1/?
@BernieSanders and @JoeBiden when you consider who each of them attracts and who each of them alienates.

Sanders attracts people who like his vision of a future America. He attracts people who want to take on the responsibility of enacting the kind of change that they 2/?
want to see in the world. He attracts people across all forms of oppression. Women, POC, LGBT like myself, immigrants, First Nations, and the entire working class. He attracts them because they feel like economic justice is the first step to true justice in our increasingly 3/?
capitalist society.

He attracts people who value his long track record of being consistent on issues that matter, while being frank and admitting to mistakes he's made in the past.

He attracts the politically disillusioned, too. He attracts lifetime Democrat voters who are 4/?
growing weary of the increasingly transparent DNC interference in elections. He attracts a generation of young voters who felt betrayed by how the Party First elites messed up so badly that they inadvertently allowed Trump to be elected. He attracts voters who feel that 5/?
their vote will never matter, but are nevertheless inspired by Sanders.

He attracts people who have been lifetime Republicans too. If Democrat voters are growing tired of election corruption then for sure some Republicans are too. He attracts people who voted Trump 6/?
for the first time in their life and regretted it. He attracts old school conservatives who are ready to admit that economic justice for all is the key to a healthy economy of people that spend money.

He attracts people who are growing weary of America's endless foreign 7/?
wars. Veterans like me who have seen firsthand the effects that American interventions have on every day people who just want to take care of their family. He attracts veterans who have seen firsthand the massive amount of waste and corruption in the military industrial 8/?
complex. He attracts any American who thinks that we spend way too much on our military and not enough on our people.

He also attracts people who reject the status quo because of financial reasons. He attracts people who agree with him that any bank that is too big to fail 9/?
is too big to exist. He attracts people who have noticed the hypocrisy when America can afford to bail out Wall Street and auto executives who go on to receive "golden parachutes" but they can't afford to improve our infrastructure. Lehman Brothers paid millions of dollars 10/?
to their executives while begging for a bailout from the US Government. Companies like them were responsible for a $700 billion bailout, but how many people went to prison for it?

He attracts the working class who have felt the economic pressures of the housing market. 11/?
Rent prices have skyrocketed in large cities and the working class people who run them behind the scenes can't afford to live near where they work.

He attracts people who are scared of the existential threat that climate change poses not only to our nation but to humanity. 12/?
He attracts people who know that when a businessman is in office, nothing will get done in the name of climate change.

He attracts people who see a failure in the criminal justice system. No major industrialized nation should have the backwards, classist, and racist policy 13/?
of cash bail. Money should never be what determines if someone ought to be in jail. No one should be imprisoned unless they are convicted of a crime, pose a specific threat to the community, or are a flight risk. If these are the case, then NO amount of money should be able 14/?
to release you from prison.

He attracts people who think that there is not enough attention put on the issue of police violence. They agree with Sanders when he calls for automatic federal investigations of every incident of officer involved deaths, instead of the status 15/?
quo of cops investigating cops who receive the "punishment" of 1 month paid vacation. They agree with Sanders that we should not have more people imprisoned than China.

Speaking of China, he attracts people who see the terrible things going on around the world and want the 16/?
US to do something about it.

He attracts people who know that Trump will never do anything to stop China, a country where the modern holocaust is happening to Uyghurs. He won't do anything to stop Saudi Arabia, a country where rape is legal and the crown prince has 17/?
carte blanche to assassinate American journalists with no consequences. He won't do anything to stop North Korea, a country whose true, unspeakable horrors will never be fully known until the people of North Korea control their government. He won't do anything about Russia,18/?
a government that openly and sloppily assassinates outspoken dissidents and interferes in American elections.

He attracts people who know that only someone who is willing to stand up to dictators can help the people around the world, not someone who considers dictators 19/?
to be his best friends.

He attracts people who see a rising threat of white nationalism and the violence associated with it. He attracts people who think that Trump is intentionally riling up his base with hateful rhetoric to stay in power. He attracts people who think that 20/?
only the opposite of Trump can defeat Trump, and Bernie Sanders is the one to do it. Like
@KillerMike
once said, you can only defeat Magneto with Professor X.

Who does Sanders alienate, then? In my opinion Sanders alienates almost no one who does 1 hour of research into 21/?
his policies and what he actually stands for. But as of right now, he does indeed alienate. Who, though? He alienates people who only know him as the "mean old man who cost Hillary the election" and the "socialist America hater". He alienates people that think Sanders 22/?
supporters are too divisive. He alienates people who think that Sanders and his supporters are just the opposite side of the same coin as Trump and his supporters.

However, these ideas that alienate people from Sanders are ideas that have been echoed and legitimized by 23/?
major media and political personalities. (Oh, and I suppose Sanders alienates people who think his supporters are conspiracy theorists.) These people are only temporarily alienated, though. As soon as they notice that the media distortion around Sanders' image is intentional 24/?
and manufactured, they are much more likely to vote for him.

I can only talk about who Sanders attracts and alienates because Sanders supporters are part of my family. I can come up with who I think Biden attracts and alienates, but I don't want speak to that because 25/?
I am biased by being not personally attracted to him. So, I'll ask you guys:

Who do you think Bernie attracts and alienates? Who does Biden attract and alienate?
