Schumer is an idiot who never should have said anything remotely along those lines.
But it's hard to remember to care when "You will pay the price" is treated as a democracy-destroying death threat while "He must pay a severe price" is treated as unremarkable & unobjectionable.

And Chief Justice Roberts isn't depoliticizing or defending the judiciary when he remains silent as the President spends weeks accusing the judge who is presiding over his friend's criminal case of "going rogue," being "totally biased," and overseeing a miscarriage of justice.
But goddamn, Schumer. There are no rewards in today's politics for acting in good faith, but do it anyway.
