Today marks the anniversary of the Rosenberg's espionage trial (they were found guilty in 1951 and executed). Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were Jewish communists and spies for the USSR. The left denied their obvious guilt for many decades.

1/ An interesting fact about the Julius and Ethel Rosenberg case: one of their sons (Robert Meeropol) went on to start a fund for the children of left-wing activists who are imprisoned; the Rosenberg fund for children.
