1. I have not seen a copy of the DC Circuit opinion so I can't comment on the merits of opinion but will make an observation about what it may tip on the #SCOTUS. IMO the Trump positions in the context of the precedent are frivolous and should not be heard by #SCOTUS.
2. Justice Sotomayor has penned a dissent to that effect. By now the Court has seen the briefs in Mazars and NYC grand jury cases and know what they are dealing with. If the DC Cir does not stay & #SCOTUS does then I will conclude #SCOTUS has ceased to function as the judicial
3. branch but has become a political organ of the GRU directed Trump regime. If we survive, and win in November, the first act must be to add four justices to the Supreme Court and ends it's political threat. @uscourts @SenSchumer @SpeakerPelosi @JoeBiden

1. We should organize high school kids in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. I don't see anyone doing that. I did it as a high school Jr for Teddy in 1970. For election turn-out, kids rock. Plus you get new Democrats. Make a lasting connection through common goals. @TimOBrien
2. You contact that one kid in every high school, who got stuff done.

You give them a title and a shot for the best resume in school. Networking.

Now you can use Twitter DM groups to keep contact within the regional groups and DM group to organize leaders into regional or
3. sector subgroups. Assists in logistics and focusing media content to sectors. All without touching Facebook or spending a dime.

Put together an army of get-out-vote teens. Discourage @facebook. Maybe @MikeBloomberg can stand up a young voter social media platform?

1. As early as this afternoon, #SCOTUS is going to decide whether to grant @realDonaldTrump's application to stay (freeze) the subpoena issued by the House Oversight Committee to Mazars for some of his financial records.

Here's a #thread on what that means and on why it matters:
2. The district court and D.C. Circuit both rejected Trump's effort to block Mazars from complying with the House subpoena, and the full D.C. Circuit ruled last week that it would not rehear the President's appeal—a ruling that would have gone into force this Wednesday (11/20).
3. To prevent that from happening while he appeals those rulings to #SCOTUS, Trump asked #SCOTUS for a "stay," which, if granted, would leave the subpoena on hold while the Court decides whether to take up his appeal on the merits (and, if so, while it decided those merits).

#SCOTUS, Jan. 8, 2019. With most of the sights in DC shut down, the Supreme Court is drawing a big crowd even for relatively low-profile cases.
It's a one-box Tuesday here at #SCOTUS, meaning one or two decisions in argued cases should be coming at 10a.
The first decision is Justice Kavanaugh's first majority opinion, in Henry Schein, Inc. v Archer & White Sales, Inc., vacating the 5th Circuit in an arbitration case. The decision was unanimous. #SCOTUS

DC Circuit moves oral arguments in former Roger Stone associate Andrew Miller's challenge to Mueller's authority to subpoena him to appear before the grand jury, a challenge he lost at the district court, to 1p Thursday, Nov. 8.
Just in —> Michael Dreeben will be arguing in the DC Circuit on Nov. 8 for the special counsel's office in support of Mueller's authority to subpoena former Roger Stone associate Andrew Miller. Dreeben is the top criminal law appellate lawyer in DOJ's solicitor general's office.
