Lots of careful and thoughtful responses to this tweet
The crucial points: there are limits on testing capacity, *and* it’s a number of days after an infection before you test positive
Which leads me to this conclusion: because Nadine Dorries has tested positive, and she’s met dozens of people (and many MPs) in the last week, MPs cramming into the chamber today is clearly against NHS advice
The advice is this. That doesn’t apply to 649 MPs. But a good number definitely.
There has been a good deal of “Johnson wants to close the Commons to muzzle it” commentary.

But there’s something else: MPs ought to set an example of how to behave. And they’re clearly *not* doing so. They’re going against NHS advice.
If the situation in the UK worsens, or dozens of MPs and their staff get #Coronavirus, today might not look good in retrospect.
