Well, I've now sat through 12 different communities doing the whole "absorbing the reality of COVID" process, and it's similar to a Code of Conduct situation, which is where some people flip out, some are trying to move things forward, arguments both brilliant and stupid alight.
There's the quickly-becoming-a-classic "The Flu Is Very Bad", the understandably justified "Vulnerable People Will Be Hit Very Hard" and the ever-popular "But I want to do the Thing and Why Can't I do The Thing Anyway".
It comes down to the fact that everyone now recognizes that there is a large swell out in the ocean, it is approaching, and the arguments come down to whether it is a small wave that will crash among the shore or if it is a tidal wave that everyone hanging around is unready for.

Don't answer - just in case you don't know this, Ol' Jason is going to mention to you that one way (not the only one) to explain why so many people you see on the online twitters seem really stupid or vicious or otherwise infuriatingly not rational is because of TWIN MIND GOBLINS
The goblins are named ZERO SUM FALLACY and LOSS AVERSION. If you've only heard those terms whiz by once in a while, then I'd really suggest looking them up. They drive a lot of human behavior and thought process and they're super exploitable a lot of industries and politics do
LOSS AVERSION is the goblin most people know something about. We really don't like the idea of giving ANYTHING up. If you get told on a Monday that you miraculously own 300 Eggplant Tokens, and then on Tuesday, that your 300 Eggplant Tokens have taken a 5% hit, you will FLIP

So, what is all the text on the image and where did it come from. A quick mention of a ridiculous hack.
The camera is obviously on the stream box, as are the static infoboxes about my twitch channel and the status at the bottom. The "Fast Disk Imager" is a capture of a VNC session going to a Apple Laptop elsewhere on the desk.
But the directory information? How am I doing that? Simple: A bash script on the Apple box looks for the most recent file to change. When it does, it creates two textfiles using "Apple Commander" command-line: a disk info textfile and a directory textfile, from the image.
