PMS PRICE ADJUSTMENT

In compliance with the directives of the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources on PMS pricing, the Corporation has reviewed its Ex-coastal, Ex-depot and NNPC Retail pump prices accordingly.

2. Effective 19th March 2020, NNPC Ex-Coastal price for PMS has been reviewed downwards from N117.6/litre to N99.44/litre while Ex-Depot price is reduced from N133.28/litre to N113.28/litre.
3. These reductions will therefore translate to N125/litre retail pump price.
4. Despite the obvious cost implication of this immediate adjustment to the Corporation, NNPC is delighted to effect this massive reduction of N20/litre for the benefit of all Nigerians.
5. Accordingly, all NNPC Retail stations nationwide have been directed to change the retail pump price to N125/litre.

In a welcome remark, Nigeria's Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and the President of the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (#APPO), H.E. Chief Timipre Sylva, recalled that Nigeria championed the founding of APPO then known as APPA in Lagos in 1987.
Chief Sylva further lauded the move to reposition #APPO which led to the establishment of the Strategy and Implementation Committee which comprised 7 member countries with Nigeria serving as the Team Lead.

Economic data is not fixed, such data is based on specific date or period. Though the figures change every second, periodic figures are used for range of time until the data provider publishes updated figures. This explains why Nigeria’s unemployment rate is still quoted at18.8%
despite the fact that the data is more than one year old. Provided no current figure is available, the latest figure remains the most reliable.
