Does anyone keep thinking that maybe 5 years from now, someone in an abandoned, burnt-out Wal-Mart who spends their days evading roving militias might be roasting a fresh raccoon and reminiscing about the moment you and I are living in right now as the last time life was normal?
You know how every disaster movie and series these days has a flashback scene to a time when life was mostly normal, but just, off in an eerie, unsettling way? I keep feeling like we're in one of those flashback scenes.
To be clear, I don't think we're headed for collapse, but I also don't like how easy it is to imagine that we are.
