I see the usual suspects are pretending to not understand the difference between "candidate accepts donation" and "SuperPAC candidate has no control over accepts donation" because whatever lets people pretend there was only one progressive running this time around...
"She only stayed in the race because that money!"

The money that didn't go to her campaign?

The money that she couldn't direct the use of, including rejecting it, because that would be coordinating with the SuperPAC?
No conspiracy theories about Warren are going to change that Dem voters don't really seem to be embracing Bernie to the extent that a lot of his supporters just seemed to assume they would.

The DNC pushing Biden doesn't require some weird fucking conspiracy involving Warren.
It's especially inane to keep pushing the conspiracy theories when it would be the simplest thing for Warren to simply have endorsed Biden like everyone else did.

There's no conspiracy theory logic that works with her somehow spoiling against Bernie but not endorsing Biden.
People pushing these conspiracy theories should probably be asking themselves why it's so important to them to see the only other progressive who ran this time around as the untrustworthy snake they want to insist she is, especially when she's acted pretty consistently.
This donation people are rushing to form new conspiracy theories around would indeed be a huge deal!

IF it had actually been to Warren's campaign, and she had accepted it.

Instead of it being to a SuperPAC she can't actually tell to refuse it, and never embraced.
A SuperPAC that forms for a candidate in spite of the candidate's wishes can go right ahead collecting money and advertising for them, the candidate's campaign isn't actually seeing that money and the candidate can't dictate what is done with it.
The entire notion that an otherwise penniless campaign only continues because a donor maxes out donations to a group that can't actually give that money to said campaign is pure galaxy brain bullshit.
It's also fun how people continue to play semantics on the SuperPAC/dark money groups issue, when their guy gets support from groups not required to disclose their donors, because the person they want to attack took an anti-SuperPAC position they haven't actually reversed on.
One might also note the dissonance when people were insisting that embracing an endorsement does not mean compromising one's positions even when the endorsement is from someone awful, but having an unaffiliated group accept a donation from someone awful is proof of corruption.
That the donor in question also donated to Arpaio is indeed strange.

But again, it's their choice to make a donation and the candidate it was made for never saw it, let alone personally profited from it. It's a stretch beyond to find conspiracy in that.
If Warren had accepted a donation from the individual I'd have major questions about who she's willing to accept money from.

This...isn't that. To claim she stayed in the race because of that money is...actually just straight up lying.
It's disappointing to see some of whom is repeating the bullshit, too.

She's dropped out. She's not in the race. She's not the reason Bernie isn't leading Biden. She's working in the Senate. And no, her endorsement or lack thereof isn't swinging things one way or the other.
The continued insistence on finding one reason or another to hate her just looks an awful lot like desperation to retroactively justify ignoring that we had two progressive candidates in the running and that for some reason the other's supporters decided to treat her like shit.
And it's not exactly like the same people aren't consistently finding some way to find an awful betrayer every time a progressive woman breaks from the orthodoxy that only Bernie Sanders is the True Progressive who can lead us forward. *Stares in MFers want to primary AOC*
It looks an awful lot, an awful lot of the time, like an awful lot of these fuckers don't actually want to ever win, they just want to whine about the Dems and the DNC and feel superior to liberals while never actually having to push to accomplish anything.
Meanwhile, those of us who actually actively want a progressive future can and have embraced that both Sanders and Warren are taking steps to show what progressive leadership actually looks like, along with the rare handful of other Dems with actual plans, like Maxine Waters.
I do wish the Dems and Dem voters in general would actually look at the fact that Sanders, who is still in the race, is actively acting like what we should want to see in a POTUS when it comes to this crisis.

And realize Biden isn't going to cut it.
Whatever the most undeservedly smug of his supporters might have decided, I have faith that Bernie actually recognize which of his colleagues are putting in the work right now, and I have more faith in he and they pushing a Dem Congress left than in us pushing Biden left.
