Transperth is 3' 6' gauge, the Prospector runs on the standard gauge line that runs across Oz.
Onboard the Prospector .. very comfortable.
The screen has an option to view the front camera. Lots of fun for all. Note on dual gauge track at this time.

Oh ... red light! This held us up for a while. Faulty signalling.
Green at last! Away we go ...
Back on East Perth ... a long but very enjoyable day!

9 March 1986, the current Grange station, on the eastern side of Military Road replaced the original station on the western side. The station was relocated to prevent traffic flow along Military Road from being interrupted by the arrival of trains.

North of the station, the Oaklands line, towards Yarrawonga, branches off. Benalla was also the junction for the now closed Tatong line.

Good morning shut-ins! Today's #virtualrailfanning comes from the Oliver Hill tourist railway on Rottnest Island (WA). The railway was originally built in the mid-1930s for constructing fortifications to house coastal defence artillery and later to supply the guns. 1/
2/ The line was originally ran from the Kingstown Jetty to the gun emplacements on Oliver Hill, but has been extended to the current station at 'Settlement'. The current train (shown) is relatively new, built in 2003 and upgraded in 2019 #virtualrailfanning
3/ The trip from Settlement to Oliver Hill takes around 30 minutes, skirting the eastern side of the island before heading through middle of the island. The track is built to 3' 6" gauge on the sandy soil so prevalent around Perth.

Good morning #shutins! Today's #virtualrailfanning comes from Kyneton (Vic). The date is 20 January 2005 shortly before the line for Regional Fast Rail works. 1/ Kyneton signal box was a double line block post with semaphore signals and level crossing gates worked from the box.
2/ Note the signals on the gantry: Signal # 2 on the left is the Up Home signal while the disc on the right (Signal # 4B) controls moves from the Up to Down lines for access to long-removed goods sidings. #virtualrailfanning.
3/ This view shows the heritage listed level crossing gates at Mollison Street Kyneton. They have been preserved but locked out of use and replaced with a modern lights, bells and booms treatment.

The NDIS had a proposed Medicare levy increase, which the original proponents of the levy welcomed.

I understand that some dis org may not understand this issue. However, it is not the job of activists to spend time ploughing through reports.
2/ You need to read the Productivity Commission's Oct 17 report (screenshot above, blind folks, too long 2 describe pc.gov.au/inquiries/comp… ) And you also need to pay more attention. The way they are limiting & capping the scheme is well known and it is at the directive of govt
3/ This has been released, read, understood. And it DIRECTLY affects your membership, so you need to listen to those members (I know you do already, but we hear it every day on the ground.)I will reinforce some of the issues here which outline WHY you need to harmonise messages.
