so this is interesting -- Rs are significantly more likely to count Trump as religious than Ds + big differences between white evangelicals and black protestants

not hard to come up w a theory -- maybe people who like trump are more likely to either a) believe it when he says he's religious and whatnot and/or b) associate him w a category that is generally common/positive in the US. and people who don't like him prob go the opposite way

when i tweet abt general horse race stuff, it gets a lot more retweets and engagement than religion stuff
but bigger proportion of engagement on religion stuff is quote tweets, thoughtful convos etc
just my experience so prob meaningless. but interesting to me!
