Here are the 15 Key takeaways from today’s TN CM’s announcements
1.TN Lockdown, originally till March 31, extended till April 14 (as per Centre’s decision)

2. Nine-member team headed by senior IAS officer to be set up to ensure people get access to essentials and to eliminate any hurdles during the period prohibitory orders is in force

3. Until further orders, private banks, small finance companies and SHGs must defer collection of daily, weekly and monthly interest from borrowers. Stringent criminal action will be taken against violators.

4. To ensure 3 feet physical distancing, large vegetable and fruit markets and shandies must be set up in spacious premises or open grounds. Similar distancing norms must be maintained in grocery shops and medical shops.

5. Fire and Rescue Services must regularly spray disinfectants in large slum tenements, shandies and big streets.

6. People must be made aware of the dangerous nature of COVID-19 through pamphlets, tandoras (tom-tom), speakers, etc.
