Why is the existing PMNRF.gov.in not used & a personal brand named fund PM-CARES being used?
Sec 46 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, statutorily mandates the creation of the “National Disaster Response Fund”

There is also a PM National Relief Fund. Why do we need a new “PM-CARES” fund? To get a catchy abbreviation? 🤐😳🙈

PM-CARES attempts at profiting out of disaster.

A study by "Cashless Consumer" reveals AACTP4637 Q is the PAN of PMNRF.
PMNRF also allows people to download receipts.
PM-CARES DOESN'T HAVE NEITHER.
It didn't give a PAN for claiming 100% 80G exemption.
Remember, if there is no PAN, u can't claim IT exemption.

The PIB statement mentions "Donations to this fund will be exempted from income tax under section 80(G)." -- But here is the catch, is it 100% exempt like PMNRF or 50% exempt like other private registered charties?

PMNRF is exempted from Income Tax by statute. PM-CARES will be paying tax, so govt can raise funds by taxing the received contributions citing the disaster?
PMNRF is audited by the CAG & the report is presented in Parliament. We don't have any info on PM Cares.

Also note that there is no tweet from @PMOIndia and the appeal came only from @narendramodi which is a PERSONAL ACCOUNT.

Also, There's attempt to drive transactions for #YesBankCrisis hit @PhonePe_ which launched it in 30 mins while other Cos. were not in loop

How did PhonePe get enough time to put a Terms and conditions page for a campaign in 30 minutes from announcement which explicitly stated they won't be providing receipts for 80G exemption?

Who is running PM-CARES? Whoever runs it gets also donor data?

Akshay Kumar donated a whopping 25 crores in less than 30 minutes of PM Modi's tweet. Doesn't that sound fishy considering we all know the close relationship he and Modi shares?🍋

So basically, it is another PR by Modi when the whole country is suffering due to #ModiMadeDisaster

If you really want to donate, donate to your respective State Government's CM Funds
( @ArvindKejriwal, @vijayanpinarayi
, @MamataOfficial, @HemantSorenJMM) because HealthCare anyway comes under state's jurisdiction.
