Oh, BTW OUAC might want marks in late April.
Wait what?
Also: remote learning does not work well w/ Growing Success, the gov't's own policy doc on assess/eval
I have a half full kiln of unfired clay.
It takes 10 hrs to fire clay.
Just as soon as:
- the gov't figures out what they want w/ assessment/evaluation
- I find out the tech & supplies accessibility of all my students
He forgot to tell us whether we have midterm report cards or not.
He forgot to tell us how to reconcile their own policies outlined in Growing Success w/ remote learning.
Yet somehow I should:
- Not worry about assess/evaluation
- Wait & see on report cards
- Get ready to calculate marks
But some of us really need to curb our expectations here & stop putting the cart before the horse.
Remote learning won't replace school. We need to take our time & think carefully before acting.
