I’m no doctor, but it looks to me like lack of testing is not an inconvenience, but a death sentence.

2/7...it’s immediate, and it’s life and death.
For front line hospital workers, testing tells them whether or not they could be spreading the virus to non-covid patients or co-workers.

3/7...it determines if you go in a covid or non-covid section of the hospital/facility. If status is wrong or unknown, you are either spreading it to other patients and workers, or subjected to the virus. If we are not getting accurate and immediate testing...

When we get to a certain point in the curve, one fewer health worker means exponentially more deaths. So by endangering them, we endanger ourselves and countless others.
This also ties in with potential waste of PPE which can be deadly in this same exponential way...

This has to be fixed immediately. Please medical experts, tell me if I’m wrong..I hope I am. And I sure hope not a single one of the 57,000+ covid tests in CA that have been pending for over a week are a case like this.

What can we do to fix this? Whom do we need to call, tweet or harass? Focus on the president or work around? Can invoking the DPA help? The WHO test? Another testing option? Is it a political solution? Medical solution? Economic solution? What needs to happen here? H E L P
