@sidseth96 and I created #TaglineRoulette for people in the planning and creative communities that want to connect and practice our craft by working on briefs that are fun, push our brains to think in unexpected ways and serve as a distraction during these challenging times. Image
The idea is simple. Choose a famous tagline, pair it with a brand outside the category and create a strategy for the new brand and tagline combination which solves an actual business challenge and consumer problem. Image
We chose the Snickers tagline “You’re not you when you’re hungry and paired it with LinkedIn. It was quite a challenge, but we really enjoyed the process and we hope you do too. Image

We’ve also teamed up with four amazing creatives (Kylie George, William Bragg, Zachary Kaplan, Brittany Nilson Keller) who are currently designing a campaign based on our creative brief and tagline.

We wanted to make this exercise in lateral thinking super easy for people to practice.

We created two roulette wheels for you to spin. One generates a tagline, and the other generates a brand you can pair it with.
