In other news, #Iraq|i counter terrorism units stormed a #PMU/#PMF location today after recieving intel on a planned rocket attack against #Baghdad Airport. They arrested 13 members, along with rockets, IEDs and Sniper rifles. KH are now reportedly on high alert.

Pro-#PMU/#PMF Telegram channels are threatening a 24 hour deadline on the return of 13 arrested members.

Reinforcements have reportedly arrived in the Green Zone, #Baghdad, #Iraq after the raid earlier this evening

Green Zone is currently on lock down. #PMU leader, Abu Fadak Al-Muhammadawi has reportedly entered.

this goes against multiple #IRGC affiliated channels saying “40” were involved. Doesn’t matter what the US say, the KH followers will believe they were involved.

During the night after the raid #PMU/Kata’ib #Hezbollah forces entered the Green Zone, #Baghdad, #Iraq. I believe this occurred during Abu Fadak Al-Muhammadawi visit.

Both #Iran|Ian backed al-Nujaba and As’hab al-Kahaf have released statements today calling on their militants to retreat and avoid escalation, and warned them not to target the #US Embassy in #Baghdad, #Iraq to allow mediation to be conducted.
