Community led org @GwinnettSToPP has been doing the legwork to dismantle the school to prison pipeline and end exclusionary discipline in Gwinnett for over 10 years.

Problems they saw back then are continuing still today – it’s time to end this racist practice now.

Public information about disciplinary practices is NOT easily accessible and @GwinnettSchools's Superintendent Alvin Wilbanks flatly told @GwinnettSToPP that he doesn’t want the public to know what it says.

Due to #COVID19, our students are learning how to transition to virtual learning—which has spotlighted its own set of socioeconomic obstacles.

With GCPS’s pattern of using bias, excessive tactics we should all be questioning how discipline will translate to new learning spaces.

The public has the right to question @GwinnettSchools disciplinary tactics and apprehension to release relating public records.
