Yes, it is partly becuase of the heavy toll at the epidemic's peak, but even 65+ deaths are now at the lower bounds of what is normal:-

Meanwhile, active infections among the young & healthy (even if not being boosted by #PCR tests for viral fragments and false positives) is a good thing: on top of which we have increasing evidence of T-cell cross-immunity in elevated no.s of the population.
