ALL children deserve
#safeguarding. Safeguarding is the responsibility of ALL adults in society. ALL adults should be subject to safeguard checks & scrutiny. Objecting to safeguarding enables the abuse & harm of children. Must read @VictoriaPeckham #CSE

The clips we have seen from #cutiesnetflix are appalling. Drawing attention to #CSE should not involve exploiting more children. Talking about ‘child sexuality’ is boundary pushing. Anybody defending this as an unsuitable person to be working with children

We have repeatedly raised concerns about unregulated groups, who clearly do not understand the importance of #safeguarding seeking access to vulnerable children. Being #LGBT does not exempt you from scrutiny. ALL children should be kept safe

4. @TheProudTrust (along with many others) are currently advertising vacancies, there is no indication in these adverts that they understand or are following correct #SaferRecruitment procedures. Why is this being allowed? @Baroness_Nichol @LordPhilofBrum

5. We see that @stonewalluk & @NSPCC are now collaborating on child #safeguarding. Many concerns have been raised about both these organisations understanding of safeguarding on a number of occasions by a number of people/organisations.

6. We are supporting a teenage girl in seeking a judicial review of @stonewalluk’a relationship with @cpsuk after their schools pack on ‘Hate Crime’ (now withdrawn) undermined the #safeguarding of children.

We originally raised concerns re @NSPCC’s appointment of Bergdorf here. This eventually lead to frightening revelations about their ‘Celebrity and Talent Officer‘
#JamesMakings, who’s inappropriate behaviour was defended by several @guardian journalists.

We have also raised concerns regarding @PeterTatchell & his continuing efforts to involve himself in #RSE. His on record statements have repeatedly conflated paedophilia & #LGBT, which is enormously damaging. Many of our supporters are Lesbian, Gay or Bi.

Safe Schools Alliance campaigns for ALL children (under 18’s) to be safeguarded. Every child has the right to a childhood & to be kept safe. This is regardless of their age, ability, disability, #SEN, Sex, race, religion, if they have questions around gender or sexual orientation

...their family circumstances or set up, if they have already become parents themselves or if they are in care. ALL adults seeking contact with children should adhere to established safeguarding frameworks & be subject to the same level of scrutiny, regardless of age, disability

...gender reassignment, marital status, pregnancy, race, religion/belief, sex or sexual orientation. Anybody arguing against this is demonstrating their unsuitability to be near children or policy that affects them. #safeguarding is for ALL or it protects NONE.
