McConnell took over the Senate in January 2015 and held votes on just two Circuit Court judges during Obama's last two years in office. This peaked with his refusal to have Senate hearings to confirm Merrick Garland. 2/9 Image

Art Pope, owner of #NorthCarolina politicians, is a co-founder of AFP-NC with David Koch, and often called "Koch Jr". When asked about the #KochNetwork’s position on the current wave of #protests, Pope said “I’ll let them speak for themselves". #NCleg

The effort is led by the National Center for Public Policy Research (#NCCPR) and the Media Research Center (MRC). NCPPR started it's own Voter Identification Task Force after the #ALEC caved in to public pressures to dismantle it's Public Safety and Elections Task Force.
The National Center for Public Policy Research was also home to Jack Abramoff's defauding of #NativeAmerican tribes. #NCPPR directed money received from tribes and distributed it to other "charities," at Abramoff's direction. sourcewatch.org/index.php/Nati…
