The hackers are known for infiltrating critical infrastructure to take down later. US officials fear Russia could change, delete or freeze voter data, making it harder for voters to cast ballots, invalidating #MailInBallots or creating uncertainty to undermine election results.🤬

Officials say the threat of #Iran is real & troubling, but say there is “little doubt that Russia remained a GREATER threat & questioned why (@DNI_Ratcliffe’s) focus was on #Iran,” comparing #Iran’s Proud Boys emails as “single A baseball, while the Russians are major leaguers.”

#Iran’s hackers appear to have scanned or penetrated some state and local networks, but security experts said Iran’s Proud Boys email was NOT based on hacked materials and instead relied on *publicly* available information that #Florida officials regularly distribute.

Despite strong evidence that #Russia🇷🇺is yet again working to undermine our election to throw it to TRUMP, Trump’s cronies have repeatedly deflected attention to Iran, which poses much LESS of a threat.
